To Med School and Beyond

My interviews for med school went very well. The first interviewer told me that I was exactly the kind of student that they want at the school. The second interviewer said that the only reason he saw that I wouldn't be able to get into school was that they had already filled all of their 60 positions for next year. I should hear from the school by the end of next week.

Today, Super Bowl Sunday, a customer said that he would like to have the Shrimper's Tuesday for his meal.
I said, "Well, I will see you then."

He questioned, "I can't get the Shrimper's Tuesday on today?"

To which I replied, "Yeah, the menu is not really clear on that is it? I guess they just thought the title would explain it all."

I have taken the next turn on the road to med school. I have been invited for an interview at Quillen College of Medicine on Feb 16th. Thank you, professors for your references, I guess they were good.

I had a conversation with two new friends today that and it stirred up my uncertainties about predestination and free will. I thought I knew what I believed, but I am not so sure anymore. It seems that depending on how I understand this issue will have significant inpact upon the way I view God and his character. I would greatly appreciate any helpful reference material support each view. However, I also realize that technically it shouldn't change my actions. I should be obedient to Christ whether I chose Christ or Christ chose me.
